Where to eat and drink during the French Open

Pizza Pino (pizzapino.fr). Go here during the fortnight and you might have Marion Bartoli at the next table. “I always go there during the French Open,” she has said. “It’s the perfect place to be – the weather is great, and you can sit outside with a slice of pizza and a glass of wine and watch people walking down the Champs Elysees. You can’t find anything better than this.”

Tse (restaurant-tse.fr). Just five minutes walk from Roland Garros, this place serves delicious Asian food and cocktails. It’s also one of the best spots in the sixteenth arrondissement for people-watching.

Annapurna. This Indian restaurant comes recommended by a former French Open champion, Ana Ivanovic. “This is great Indian food – my favourite dish to order is the tandoori chicken.”

Convivium (convivium.fr). Venus Williams loves this Italian restaurant: “The lobster pasta is incredible.”
